A group of four members completed a challenging walk to Carn a’ Choire Bhuidheach and The Stuic, encountering snow, storms, and hail but enjoying spectacular views and a successful day out. Another smaller group enjoyed a pleasant evening walk near Forvie with calm weather and good company.

Lot’s happening this newsletter! There’s a walk report for Creag an Dail Bheag and Culardoch from Margaret, two for the Tyndrum By the Way bunkhouse weekend from Ingrid and Andy, and a walk report from Ingrid for The Glen Ogle cycle/ walk trail.

 

April 2026

Club member, Irene, shares with us an initially windy, rainy walk to Hill of Cat / Gannoch but whilst not an easy walk and the weather making it slightly more challenging, it was definitely worth the effort. Wrapped up nicely with the customary ‘’fly’ to finish a grand day on the hill.
